Zharenova Olga Gennadievna is a master of patch work, a member of the Organization of Artists of Russia. She’s been in this craft since 1998. She takes part in different exhibitions and fairs in Russia and abroad. In 1997 in Sochi she won the first place in the competition, took the first prize in the festival “Patch work of Russia ” in 1999 and 2003.
Patch work pictures, patch-work quits, pillow-cases, articles of clothes, decorations and bags are made on base of the geometric ornamental pattern of the Russian North. The diversity of the goods varies from the popular to extra modern and vanguard.
These works are exhibited in the main Russian museums and in the privet collections in Germany, Finland, Norway, France, the USA and Japan.
